Sesame Broccoli

2 tsp. sesame seeds
2 TBS low-salt soy sauce
2 TBS dry sherry
1 TBS sugar
1 TBS cider vinegar
1 tsp. grated peeled gingerroot
1 medium garlic clove, minced
2 cups broccoli florets (about 10 oz.)

Heat a small skillet over medium-high heat. Dry-roast sesame seeds for 1-2 minutes, or until golden, stirring constantly. Pour onto a small plate. Set aside.
Put the remaining ingredients (except broccoli) in the skillet. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil for 1 minute (mixture should measure ¼ cup). Remove from heat.
Meanwhile, steam broccoli for 4 minutes, or until just tender-crisp.
Serve broccoli in a shallow serving bowl. Spoon sauce over broccoli. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
