Fresh Greens
2 lbs mixed greens (collards, mustard, kale, Swiss
chard, or other)
1 medium onion diced
2 cloves garlic minced
1tsp McKay's Chicken Flavored Seasoning®
½ tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp Bakon® Yeast seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 quart water
2 tbsp olive oil
Wash and shred greens. Put water in
Dutch oven an place on high heat. Add onion, garlic,
salt, pepper, chicken seasoning and Bakon seasoning.
Bring to a boil. Put shredded greens in the boiling
water and cover. Cook on high for ten minutes. Turn
burner to medium add oil and cook for another 5
minutes. Allow to sit for 5 minutes and serve hot.
