Summary: Volunteers Needed for Heart Disease Research Study.
The University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center College of
Nursing will have a clinical research study to help doctors and
nurses learn the best ways to teach patients when to seek treatment
for heart disease.
Eligible Criteria:
· 18 years of age or older; and
· have had a heart attack or diagnosed with heart disease.

Summary: Adult Volunteers Wanted For Cardiac MRI Research
To look at the safety and efficacy of OptiMARK contrast with magnetic
resonance imaging (MRI) when used to examine vessels of subjects
following an acute myocardial infarction (MI).
Eligible Criteria:
· Recently suffered (within 2 weeks) from an acute MI (heart
attack); and
· Have had a heart catheterization to determine which vessels
and areas of the heart may have been affected by the MI.

Summary: Have you had a heart attack greater than 6 weeks ago?
There is a WIZARD trial that evaluates the potential effects of
an antibiotic in preventing further cardiac events.
Catch this trial in many centers in the US.
Eligible Criteria:
· Do not have a condition requiring antibiotics on a routine
basis; and
· Have not had a coronary artery bypass graft or angioplasty
within the last 6 months and do not plan to have one in the next
90 days.
